Dr. Muhammad Shakir
I recieved my PhD degree in the field of Remote Sensing and GIS in 2015 from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) under Chinese Government scholarship. At UCAS i studied at the Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth (RADI). Throughtout of my PhD i worked on agriculture and forestry using different remote sensing datasets. For my PhD thesis i focused on agriculture where i use remote sensing and modelling approaches to monitor crops. These days i am working as an assistant Professor in Institute of Space Technology (IST) Dept of Space Science. My general interests are in the field of agriculture, forestry, ecosystem and disasters.
