I have completed my PhD studies from School of Environment, Tsinghua University, Beijing China. I have conducted multiple simulations using ICTP regional climate model (RegCM4) on the Explorer 100 cluster system of Tsinghua National Laboratory for Information Science and Technology (TNList). This includes, the successive sensitivity experimetns with different convection/land surface parameterization and simulations for present and future climate change projections with much focus on the South Asian summer monsoon (SASM) variability under different scenarios.

In recent days, I am working on improvement of RCM (RegCM4) simulation over Pakistan in a way to understand the atmospheric processes, identification and quantification of added value, and the causes of uncertainties in future projections i.e. the effect of model bias on simulated change. This will increase our confidence on RCMs simulated future projections for climate change impact assessment studies.
