Naeem Shahzad has received his MPhil Degree in Geomatics from University of the Punjab. and he is an earth observation scientist/Remote Sensing professional specificaly in dealing with optical data/Object based image analysis/image processing. During his research MPhil, he worked on Pansharpening algortihms and proposed a modified Subtractive Resolution Merged (SRM) technique for mapping mangroves ecosystems on World View 2 datasets. He has an extensive field/ professional experience of more than 8 years with World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and worked on conservation Remote Sensing for different national and international projects. He is reviewer of IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing, Springer's Arabian Journal of Arabian GeoSciences, and an active memeber of Young Earth Scientist (Y.E.S) congress.
Currently he is Remote Sensing Specialist at WWF-Pakistan.
